- The internet has made sharing information very easy, yet sharing isn't as straightforward. Many academics share their copyrighted work on scholarly collaboration networks such as ResearchGate and others which may not follow the terms of their Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) and may receive takedown notices as a result.
