| Summary: | The purpose of this study was to determine what were the social and educational advantages or disadvantages in the single grade school organizational plan. There were thirty-one single grade schools in the State of Florida. Of this number research was limited to a stratified random sample of the twenty-four seventh grade schools. These schools are thought to have been organized for political reasons. The area of the single grade school in our educational system has been seriously neglected. This dissertation was but one systematic step toward an accumulation of much needed data. Suggestions were made for future research. | |
