Note(s): This paper provides the first description and illustration of the complete larval development of G. rostrata, as well as the first report on any species of Galathea reared totally under laboratory conditions, from hatching to megalopal stage. The larvae and postlarvae are compared with larval stages known from other members of the Galatheidea throughout the world, and shared features are briefly summarized.
