Note(s): Gas liquid chromatography, chemical analyses, and infrared and 13C-NMR spectroscopies indicated that phycocolloids extracted from Agardhiella subulata had a dominant l-carrageenan feature with less deviant l-carrageenan and v-carrageenan. The presence of methylated galactose and a small contamination by xylose were registered.
