Note(s): |
The compound 3-amino- I-(2-aminoimidazoyl)-prop-l-ene [3], a possible biosynthetic precursor to the oroidin class of metabolites, has been isolated from the marine sponges Teichaxinella morchella and Ptilocaulis walpersi. Its isolation and structure elucidation are reported. This document is the accepted manuscript version of a published work that appeared in final form in Journal of Natural Products after peer review and technical editing by the publisher.
