The purpose of this study was to investigate the relative importance of in-situ N and P limitation on productivity, measured both as growth (weight increase) and photosynthetic capacity (P vs I curve and Pmax), and chemical composition of the red seaweed, Gracilaria tikvahiae (previously referred to as G. foliifera v. angustissima) in the lower Florida Keys, USA.
