The larval development of Megalobrachium soriatum (Say, 1818), a shallow-water western Atlantic porcellanid crab, is completely described and illustrated. Megalobrachium soria tum hatches as a prezoeal stage of less than 1 day's duration, and then molts through two subsequent zoeal stages of about 6 days' duration each, before attaining megalopal stage.
