Note(s): Lithium hydroxide (LiOH) has been used as a CO2 absorbent in underwater life support systems and the space industry. The effectiveness of the LiOH-C0 2 reaction is a function of temperature, humidity, composition of incoming gas, method of packing, geometry of canister, granular size and porosity of the absorbent. Laboratory tests are performed to determine the effects of these factors on LiOH bed-C0 2 absorption
