Note(s): The purpose of this report is to present to ABS for its review an updated design of the penetration assemblies for the Johnson-Sea-Link acrylic pilot sphere. 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was conducted and new penetrator assemblies were designed and constructed and fitted into an existing sphere (SN 9). This report presents the analysis and test data of the penetrator components and summarizes the minor changes made to the penerators.
