Note(s): Mrs. Nancy Myers is one of the founders of the South Florida Science Museum and Planetarium in West Palm Beach, a not-for-profit institution. Mrs. Myers grew up, went to college, and met her husband in New York State. The Myers married in 1947 and moved to Florida, where Mr. Myers worked in the Trust Department of First National Bank. Mrs. Myers joined the Junior Welfare League and she became President of the League at the time the group sponsored the Junior Museum as a project. She has served as member and chairman of the museum’s board, and she is currently involved as a volunteer as head of the museum store.
