Note(s): Natan Zielon interview by Devon Gladstone at the Boca Raton home of Natan Zielon on October 1. 2010. The interview traces Natan Zielon's childhood in Wodzislaw and Krakow, preparing for German invasion and hiding out in attics and basements in Poland. He talks about working in Sedziszow, his experiences at Skarzysko, an ammunition factory and labor camp, and working and living at Buchenwald. Natan Zielow also recalls coping with hunger, being liberated by the Russians in 1945, searching for family and his struggles to maintain hope. The interview also traces his life after World War II, meeting his wife and their journey to the United States.
