Products such as Enterprise Office 365 are already using it, available for any user in Office 365 Midsize Business, Enterprise, Academic, and Nonprofit plans as well as the standalone versions of Exchange Online and SharePoint Online. The log-in verification feature is aimed at reducing users' vulnerability to online identity theft, phishing, and other scams by adding a second level of authentication to an account log-in. Twitter, Apple, PayPal, Google, Facebook, and other vendors already have implemented it. After correctly entering their username and password, users need to acknowledge a phone call, text message, or an app notification on their smartphone before they can gain access to their account. Two-factor authentication is the most common form of MFA and requires the use of two of the three authentication factors: Something only the user knows, something the user has, and something only the user is. In this work we will analyze some varieties, do UML models of their structure and dynamics, and compare MFA to other authentication approaches.

Our results indicated that 56% of daily activity occurred between 0600 – 0800 h and >95% of the daily activity was found in images taken between 0600 and 1400 h. The wading bird activity showed little variation and no obvious correlation with water depth fluctuations (highest recorded density = 2.1 birds/ha at 14.9 cm depth; lowest recorded density = 0.05 birds/ha at 35.1 cm depth). The wading bird activity occurring between 0600 – 1400 h accounts for >95% of daily activity. We conclude that a study of water depth and average wading bird density earlier in the nesting season is needed for a clearer effect of water depth on wading bird foraging activity.

As a consequence, there is increasing interest in understanding its life history. One difficulty encountered in studying P. maculata is that it lays large, multilayered clutches of very small eggs that are impossible to count without disaggregating the egg mass; which results in the loss of viability. Using a previously described dis-aggregation technique, we weighed, dis-aggregated, photographed, and counted 70 egg masses of P. maculata collected from various locations in Lake Okeechobee. Using the resulting mass and egg numbers we developed an algorithm that reliably relates clutch mass to the number of eggs in a clutch, allowing the estimation of the number of eggs in a clutch without impacting the eggs’ viability and paving the way for investigations into studies on fecundity, hatching rate, etc.

While there is a strong growth in our country’s economy, there is no clear way to see what the future has in store. The purpose of my research is to see how people are preparing financially towards their future. My goal is to see if people started saving for retirement, and how worried they are about the future. I am interested to see how much people saved so far. What I found is that many people did start to put money away for retirement, but they are worried about the future regardless of how much they have saved so far.

These changes have presented problems such as job displacement, high barrier to entry, and a gender gap in the engineering communities. In order to see the views of Americans regarding the challenges of software technologies, we conducted an online survey, gathering 500 responses. In recent news stories, it has been shown that there is a gender gap in the tech industry, but the women that participated in our survey are interested in learning software engineering as much as men. Additionally, our research found that younger people are not only required to use software tools more frequently but are the most interested in learning how to build them. Finally, we found that a majority of people do not have any experience developing software. Our survey highlights some of the challenges of software technologies in the economy.

Show moreThe evaporation of water in the ocean can lead to hyper salinity caused by the extra substances left behind during the process. The Florida bay is surrounded by the Florida loop current and the Florida Keys, its salinity reading has been recorded as high as 70 ppt, double the normal capacity of seawater. The bay salinity depends on the amount of fresh water released from the Everglades and the magnitude of water outputted to the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the ratio between the amount of water evaporated and the amount of precipitates left in the remaining water pool. For this research nine saltwater treatments from 0 to 40 ppt in increments of 5 ppt were constructed to examine how evaporation rates are affected by varying salinities. During this study, data were collected from each of the nine treatments before and after evaporation. The data recorded included salinity readings, pH levels and volume of water evaporated. The analyses of this data will determine the relationship between salinity levels and evaporation rates.

Results from a survey shows 8 out of 10 people are being misdirected around the Boca Raton campus causing delays, traffic, and frustration. The architectural design of the Boca Raton campus buildings makes navigating even more difficult because of their identical qualities. The directory maps on campus fail to inform current position, are visually overwhelming and are outdated. From the research collected, we will create a cohesive navigational system that makes travel easier for visitors, students, and faculty. The new navigational system will comprise of a redesigned directory, numeric building signage, route markers, and an instruction manual.

Materials and Methods: 100 patients receiving brachytherapy treatments in ABPI using the Savi applicators were considered for the study. The CT scans used in the initial plan was compared with every scan obtained before each treatment. Each of these scans were exported in the planning system and registered with the initial plan. Dosimetric evaluations were performed with their consequences to the ribs and the skin surface. Results: Making the dosimetric comparison for the critical points on the ribs and skin due to very small changes in the interfractionation position revealed dramatic differences in the maximum dose to these critical organs. The cavity's volume manifested changes between fractions as well as the distances to the two critical organs. Therefore the maximum dose manifested variance between 10 and 32 in both of the sites Conclusions: This study demonstrates that using CT scan before each treatment will minimize the risk of delivering undesired high doses to the critical organs. This reveals the urgent need of increasing and improving the immobilization methods when treating ABPI with Savi. In 30 of the cases re-planning was necessary between fractions therefore we conclude that in each case the treatment and planning teams must be prepared for re-plan as needed.

Show moreThis paper is an exploration of how the definition of an experience has changed over time and the impact this change has had on experiential marketing and branding. In the literature, there are numerous implications as to what this morphing definition means to businesses and how businesses should react in order to stay competitive in a society that is hyper stimulated. Research into what defines an experience and the impact this definition has on business is vital because in order for businesses to offer innovative experiences they need to understand what an experience is and the role it plays in the success of their organization. Furthermore, a deep understanding of what comprises an experience and how to manipulate those elements to create a unique and targeted experience are tools a company could use to reinvent itself, change its brand meaning, and rewrite its marketing strategy.
The evolution of marketing and branding has taken an exponential leap since technology changed the way society functions. A wide breadth of literature is dedicated to virtual experiences and internet based branding and marketing advances. In addition to virtual experiences, this paper will also explore the success of experience based brands such as Disney and Lexus. The implications of this success have gone beyond name brands and into niche markets. Finally, the paper will explore the implications these findings have for managers. Our hypothesis is that marketing and delivering a complete experience is more vital in the modern business world than it used to be.

In the midst of the current refugee crisis, how might countries decide who accepts and denies refugees into their borders? We answer this by focusing on the laws and regulations that have been implemented since the 1951 Refugee Convention. The attitudes toward refugees and how the crisis is handled are an accurate reflection of the discrepancy between states’ responsibilities and states’ needs. We investigate the history of the laws and how states have found loopholes through the rules and regulations through court cases. Through this research, we are able to understand the legalities of how refugees reach safety and who takes responsibility when a government ultimately fails its people.mitter in the brain. We are interested on the Hispanic population because they represent one of the largest and fastest-growing minority groups in the United States. We conducted telephone and online surveys of 500 Hispanics around the country. Our findings indicate that Hispanics have statistically significant different perspectives on lifting the Embargo, expanding trade and reestablishing diplomatic relations depending on their age, gender and other socio-demographic factors.

The purpose of our research is to examine Hispanics reliance on social media for political information in the United States. Our results show that the majority of younger Hispanic voters rely on social media for their political news. In fact, over 84 percent of those who are between 18 and 34 years old are more likely to get their information from social media than any other source. Furthermore, our findings indicate that the younger Hispanic population are the most likely to find the political news on the internet trustworthy. If political campaigns want to target Hispanics, a rapidly growing demographic, they should move their attention towards social media as a major platform for their political campaigns.

Its rulings, legally binding, guide international affairs between states by holding them accountable to international law. Previous studies have found that the judges on the ICJ display judicial bias. However, scholars have yet to evaluate whether judges are influenced by a regional association with a party in the cases. To evaluate the role of region in ICJ rulings, I developed a dataset containing: 1) nationality of judges in contentious cases, 2) states party to a case, 3) states’ regions, and 4) case subject. This data is then used to evaluate the relationship between ICJ judges, state region, and the outcome of case rulings in order to determine whether regional bias exist today within the UN.

The goal of this study is: (1) determine, if any, haemogregarina parasitemia levels of the gopher tortoise population in each site and (2) detect any additional hemoparasite species. We hypothesize that paristemia will be higher in BSP due to increased overcrowding and lack of prescribed fires. This study will benefit current conservation and management practices for gopher tortoises and provide a baseline study for intracellular parasites.

Show moreFor highly migratory species, it is important to understand what habitats are used and what requirements are essential for growth and development. These migrations often span different political and regulatory boundaries, complicating conservation strategies. The hatchlings and post-hatchlings of most sea turtle species migrate to oceanic habitats where they remain for several years before returning to shallow developmental habitats. For critically endangered hawksbill turtle, Eretmochelys imbricata, most research has concentrated on nesting ecology and very little is known about the posthatchling migration. Many sea turtles then spend years in different foraging habitats before reaching sexual maturity, and such foraging grounds typically represent a mixed stock of turtles from different nesting beaches. Mitochondrial DNA analysis can be used to estimate genetic stock structure of mixedstock foraging populations for sea turtles, and the duration of the post-hatchling oceanic stage can be estimated using stable isotope analysis and satellite telemetry. Our objectives are to determine the duration of the post-hatchling oceanic stage of development, to determine if the turtles sampled in a particular foraging habitat represent a biased or unbiased assortment of matrilineages, and to infer potential migratory pathways by investigating ocean currents between nesting beaches and the foraging site. Here we discuss our methods, to determine the duration of the post-hatchling oceanic stage and stock structure for immature hawksbills at a developmental foraging ground.

Occasionally these professional sports teams decide to relocate to another city, state, etc. Relocation has become increasingly prevalent in the past few seasons. This puts the dedicated fans in a difficult situation in which they can remain loyal to the city or the specific team itself. In order to analyze how someone would react to their favorite professional sports team being relocated, we developed a survey to addresses the underlying question of would your favorite team remain your favorite team even if they relocated. Our results found that the decision to remain a fan or switch to another team depends on gender and the level of education.
