New-York, [blank space for date] [blank space for name] President. [blank space for name] Secretary. FAU Libraries' copy appears to have been trimmed to 17 cm; in marbled paper pasted over cardboard covers and gold stamping on spine. FAU Libraries' copy has certificate of membership filled in so as to read: "This certifies that Moses Judah-- has been regularly admitted a member of the "Washington Benevolent Society", instituted in the City of New-York, on the 12th day of July, 1808. New-York, July 3 1809-- Isaac Sebring President."
