Note(s): This broadside is from the collection of a historic suite of hand-printed literary broadsides which are a part of the "Al-Mutanabbi Street” Broadside Project at the Arthur and Mata Jaffe Center for Book Arts at the FAU Libraries. This edition has been specially printed for the Al-Mutanabbi Street Broadsides project as a limited edition of 50 numbered and signed copies. A second edition of a print by the German artist Heinz Stefan Bartkowiak, originally produced in 1998 in Horn, Austria for the BibliophilenBiennale. Printed by Klaus Raasch at the Museum der Arbeit, Hamburg, Germany on a Heidelberg Cylinder press between 1st and 2nd July 2009. Each broadside is truly a work of art. All are printed letterpress, usually from handset metal or wood type. Some feature original relief prints, some are printed on handmade paper; all are made with the passion of artists who have something to say.
