This folder contains various thank you letters or letters of short inquiries and/or answers. In addition there are expense reports. The letter, dated May 9, 1961. from Mrs. Marion F. Buford, Research Assistant of the Planning Commission, in response to Mr. David M. Fineman of the Pittsburgh Press letter of March 15, 1961 outlines in great detail the scope and purpose of the new university. The pamphlet "Florida's College Crisis is Here Now!" published by the Resources Development Board of Palm Beach County, is very good document of information about the reason for a university in S. E. Florida. There are also letters to and from Mr. Edward Heiliger who became the first library director at FAU.
