Note(s): Seven field and 27 series of laboratory toxicity tests were performed, with 78 combinations of animals and insecticides. Bioassay animals were: hatching eggs of common snook, spotted seatrout, spot, and Gulf menhaden; juvenile common snook and spotted seatrout; adult copepods; and larval hardshell clams. Toxicants were: technical fenthion (Baytex), technical malathion (Cythion ), technical naled (Dibrom), Baytex thermal fog mixture, and thermal fog oil mixture without Baytex.
