| Summary: | The primary emphasis of this study was to complete a thorough review of the relevant literature and then based upon the findings, develop a Human Resources Planning System for application within the Canadian petrochemical industry. Special attention was given to those contemporary tools which help make an effective manpower planning system. The developed system was tested using a comprehensive questionnaire to a selected cross-section of companies currently operating in this industry. Key findings of the questionnaire were discussed. It was anticipated that the study would form the basis of a Human Resources Planning System for use within Polysar Limited. | |
